Summer period 2010 - every Friday walk-in workshops
Traditionally we will again organise our walk-in workshops before the weekly dance night on Friday during the Summer period. Registration beforehand is not necessary. And for all workshops: Salsa dancers who do not follow the lessons at Dos Bailadores are welcome as well!
Time: 21.00 - 22.00 hours
Entrance fee: € 10,- (incl. entrance dance evening)
| Friday 3 September 2010 | Salsa "on 2" (Mambo) & Ladystyling Zouk (in 2 rooms) Salsa "on 2" is also called Mambo. This Salsa style, where you start the dance on the second count in the music, is mainly popular in Puerto Rico and New York. As of the different timing compared with LA Salsa on "1", you have more time for e.g. body movements. As the "clave", the base instrument in Salsa, emphasizes the second count, Salsa "on 2" will bring you the feeling that you are more into the music. With Mambo you will learn a subtile way of dancing that makes you better understand the music. Latin, jazz-like music like the famous Tito Puente is very suitable for this way of Salsa dance. During the workshop Ladystyling Zouk attention will be paid to ladies that have intermediate Zouk experience on level 3 or higher. During the workshop a lot of attention will be paid to co-ordination and balance, hair movements, feet work, arm movements, elegance of the lady and solo dance. Ladystyling, the finishing touch for every Zouk Lady! |

Saturday 18 September 2010 - workshops Zouk
Before our monthly Brazilian Zouk Party will organise workshops Zouk for beginners and advanced. Teachers are Willem and Manodj. Registration beforehand is not necessary.
Time: 21.00 hours (beginners and advanced in 2 rooms)
Entrance fee: € 10,- (incl. entrance to party)
